Position Summary:
? Leader of the accounting team.
? To manage and report the company’s financial activities on a timely and accurate manner.
? Maintain a proper accounting system according to local and corporate accounting standard.
? Maintain and adhere to gategroup Internal Controls System and guidelines
? Act within gategroup Financial Policy and Authority Matrix
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
? Checking of all transactions made by assistant accountants and accounts clerks.
? Make relevant analysis & reports according to management requirement.
? Attend the physical stock take quarterly.
? Liaison with external auditors and tax agents.
? Training of new accounting staff.
? Weekly / monthly / annual reporting to NE Asia office, Division office and Corporate Head Office
? Report to Airport Authority
? Responsible for the company’s Insurance policies
? Act as secretary to the company’s Board
? Ensure strict focus on cash-flow management within the organization
? Implement improvements to accounting processes
? Accountable for an accurate booking of transactions and on time month-end reporting.
? Enforcement of internal controls and authority matrix within Finance function.
? Adherence to accounting standards and group guidelines.
? Meetings with colleagues on routine discussion on company business, when required.
? Discussions with auditors and tax agents.
Skills & Knowledge Summary:
? Proven accounting knowledge on local and corporate requirement.
? Proven knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
? SAP FICO user.
? Hyperion Reporting and Consolidation tool user.
? Good understanding of local corporate taxation.
? Over 5 year working experience as senior accountant in multinational organizations and financial reporting / analysis work.
? Team leader for no less than 3 years.
? Familiar with financial policy at domestic and abroad.
