Essential Job Responsibilities
? Lead sustaining projects including failure analysis, design improvements and cost reduction.
? Performs root cause analysis of existing products and develops corrective actions plans.
? Work with operation team and vendors to identify design issues, opportunity to improve manufacturing yield, quality and process efficiency.
? Responsible for engineering design changes for launched products.
? Provide “lessons-learned” report to product development team to improve new product design.
? Work with product certification team to maintain product certifications.
? Other manager assigned responsibilities.

Minimum Qualification / Functional competency
? Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
? 4 years’ experience in sustaining engineering of the mechanical, electromechanical and plastic structure design of pneumatic for industrial applications.
? Strong knowledge of mechanical parts manufacturing process and working experience in plastic injection process.
? Experience with product failure mode analysis and root cause analysis.
? Familiar with common mechanical testing methods and applying appropriate testing.
? Proficient with using AutoCAD/Pro-Engineer mechanical CAD/CAE tools.
? Proficient with 3D and 2D mechanical drawing development.
? Excellent documentation skills.
? Good verbal and written English.
? Strong problem solving capability.
? Good understanding products running on ERP system.
? Must be a team player and self-motivated.

Desired Qualification
? Advanced engineering degree.
? Experience in developing innovative mechanical architectures for pneumatic products.
? Experience in using Six Sigma tools to design solutions to meet both customer and manufacturing requirements.
? Experience in high pressure air mechanical design is desired.
