I. Background Information
Position Title: Operation Analyst
Function/Department: IT

II. Purpose
The primary purpose of the position is to oversee the development, management and execution of the ITIL processes in the region, including detection, correction and prevention of IT service disruptions. The individual is part of the Global Enterprise Operation team and drive standardised work practices as defined by GM globally.

III. Areas of Responsibility
1. Incident / Problem Management
Oversee the IT suppliers performing the standardised work processes in accordance with their contractual responsibilities. Establishes and drives towards operational performance targets.
Ensuring all parties follow the GM process. Attend high severity conference calls and provides GM leadership during an Incident ensuring efficient restoration of normal service with minimal disruption to the business. Review through Problem Management the supplier corrective and preventative actions. Report to regional/global as required.

2. Change Management
Ensuring all parties follow the GM process. Be able to assess impact of a change and ensure that sufficient planning and effort has been made before authorizing Changes. Represent the region on relevant CAB's

3. Other ITIL processes
Follow up suppliers for accurate information and IT suppliers to meet their defined performance target on a regular basis, e.g. CMDB, Release management.

4. Supplier Management
Leads suppliers in improving the reliability and availability of GM IT environments. Drive IT suppliers to meet their defined SLAs and review their performance against their SLA targets on a regular basis.
Resolve conflicts in a multiple-supplier environment.

IV. Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Competencies
Knowledge:
? Solid knowledge in IT infrastructure and application areas.
? Professional technical certificates preferred.

Experience/Education:
? 5+ years of IT operations management experience.
? IT incident and problem management experience, including managing and developing supplier and employee teams is preferred.
? Degree in a computer or information sciences or technical degree with IT experience.
? Certification in ITIL foundation. ITIL manager preferred.
