Job description

- Develop distributors business targets (short, mid and long term).

- Develop and implement strategies for new or under-developed distributors.

- Develop the structure around the management and implementation of distributors.

- Define set of targets and terms of trade via distributor contract and review it on a regular basis.

- Build up and maintain business partnerships with distributors.

- Implement regular and standardized analysis & reporting of distributor business-performance versus agreed targets.

- Create the model, involving conceptualization, piloting and creating the roadmap for new business expansion in new territories.

- Initiate product and sales trainings for the distributors sales team.

- Coordinate with National Sales Manager on a way to boost the sales business.

Job requirements

- At least 10 years experience in Sales and Trade-Marketing of International branded consumer products, of which at least 5 years managerial experience in Distributor Business.

- Experienced in guiding, leading and motivating a team, knowledge of personnel assessment tools, career path planning.

- Can accelerate the Distributors Business, has contacts in various Provinces to find good Distributors in China

- Can support/organize/train/coach properly the Field Team on Distributor issues.

- Good relationship with Distributor and Customers in China, and knows the Chinese Market and its complexities very well.

- Experience in International Company, consumer business, and Non Food industry is preferrable.

- Good knowledge and experience in creating and implementing

o Sales and Distribution Plans

o Marketing plans

- Good knowledge of trade structure and sales-force management.

- Deep knowledge and experience in consumer products marketing mix.

- Overview knowledge on processes and principles of a P&L statement and financial key figures.

- Overview knowledge on processes and principles in Supply Chain Management and Production / Product development

- Experience in preparing PowerPoint presentations.

- Knowledge of relevant software tools (MS Office etc.).

- Good English in written and oral.

- Education: university is preferable.
