3. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Communications & External Affairs Officer is a core member of the communications team to manage all digital communications related activities for RICS in China – from resource management, messaging framework, channel prioritization to executions including generation of EDM, maintenance of social media platform and China website to maximize business outcomes and brand profile.
? Formulate RICS’ digital communications strategy according to its China branding strategy and prioritize digital marketing investment
? Execute digital marketing plan for RICS China to achieve target KPIs
? Maintain RICS China’s existing digital communications platforms – website, EDM, SMS, weibo, WeChat; and establish new platforms as necessary.
? Identify, develop and edit digital communications contents based on information provided
? Design, manage, evaluate and improve user experience on RICS China digital platforms, including but not limited to the website, event sites, and social networking platforms
? Formulate digital strategy and produce necessary materials to promote RICS products and events in China conferences, seminars, social gatherings etc) promotion by designing promotional materials/messaging and digital marketing strategies
? Execute any other communications related tasks as assigned by the management
4. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Knowledge & skills:
? University Degree or above, preferably in a communications or new media related discipline.
? Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
? Fluency in English and Mandarin
? Good at copywriting online content
? Knowledge in web content management and social media platforms
? Experience in multimedia production
? Strong interest in new technology and platforms
? Design experience would be a strong plus

? Self-starter
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills
? Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a very fast-paced environment
