Artisan Gateway is an international film and cinema consulting company with offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Jakarta. The company provides investment & business partnering, cinema development and international market entry, and research services to Hollywood film studios and other entertainment clients and partners globally.

Job Position: FILM & CINEMA RESEARCH ANALYST

Industry research using data and information website, social media, print publications, etc. Prepare film and cinema industry information and reports for publication on regular deadline. Major Hollywood studio clients. Movie fans are welcome.

Small team environment. Proficient English & Mandarin verbal and writing skills required.

Downtown Shanghai office location near iapm shopping mall.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily research to update on film industry business news, data, and information;
• prepare database entry and regular reports;
• draft and edit written reports in English and Chinese;
• complete all work fully and accurately on deadline;
• daily general office project and administration support

Qualifications

• English language major or experienced research background preferred;
• strong English and Mandarin verbal and writing skills;
• research work experience, analytical thinking and attention to accuracy and detail;
• Easy to get along and quick to learn new things;
• 4 year university degree;
• familiar with Microsoft office software
