Specific responsibilities of the position:
? Design, set up and monitor the production lines to ensure the flow is efficient and effective
? Drive for continuous improvement in manufacturing process to optimize productivity and quality excellence
? Trouble shooting on technical issues
? Conduct training to front line engineers, workers and other members
? Develop and implement cost saving programs
? Work closely with Quality and Production on equipment testing and setting
? Support component/part local sourcing through production pilot runs.
? Provide technical advice to ensure the manufacturing system compliance and meet the operation requirements
? Generation and maintenance of 3D and 2D files.
? Plan and carry out mechanical verification and validation.
? Creation and maintenance of design/Mfg documentation (Mechanical BOM, drawings, WI etc.).

Specific requirements for the position:
? Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
? 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing processes or Mechanical Design.
? Must be able to work with cross functional team effectively communicate ideas
? Having mechanical aptitude to work with tools in tearing down product assemblies
? Knowledge of using AutoCAD/Solid work/ ProEngineer
? Excellent analytical and organizational skills, and communications skills
? Result oriented, track record in execution
? Good understanding of BOM structure
? Knowledge of Oracle, ISO9000 is advantageous
? Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
