Requirements
* Bachelor degree with 3 years sourcing and product development experiences in home decor category with strong knowledges of quality standards for different materials.
* Create quality standards, carry out quality system control on the supplier during sampling and production.
* Travel to factories for DUPRO and final inspection if necessary.
* Knowledge of AQL standards and American safety requirements an advantage.
* Very familiar with US retail market and design trend.
* Strong communication, management and problem solving skills
* Self motivated, energetic, result driven and good team player
* Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
* Extended vendor network in the home décor industry


Job Descriptions
* Manage all phases of sourcing &product development from concept through production in key materials including glass, ceramic, wood, metal, and small home electronics; also need to supervise the progress from the sampling to production stages.
* Work closely with PTI design and product development department in US to understand & meet seasonal & program based sourcing direction & needs in a timely manner
* Identify, develop & maintain relationships with suppliers
* Ensure effective cost management/negotiation of products to maximize profitability.
* Manage production & quality inspections to make sure all the goods are shipped on time.
* Ensure good workflow & communication in all phases of development between Design, Sourcing and Production.
* Travel to factory to inspect the quality of goods as needed.
