This candidate is responsible for managing Shanghai and Dongguan accounting team to perform all accounting activities in an effective and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and review all accounting activities for Shanghai and Dongguan team
• Responsible for month-end and year-end financial statements closing; ensure consolidated statutory and management reports are submitted accurately and in a timely manner with analysis on company performances
• Ensure all accounting records are compliant with China accounting principles and also company policies
• Liaise with our audit firm on company tax filings in accordance with China laws/ regulations and also manage internal and external audits
• Support HK Finance team in budgeting, forecasting and monthly reporting purposes
• Provide guidelines and support to other departments on financial matters
• Apply risk-based management and ensure effective governance and financial controls are in place to support business growth
• Utilise and enhance company system tools including Kingdee & SAP
• Manage company vendor payments
• Coach and develop team members
• Occasional travel is required

Requirements:

• Degree or above in Accounting or relevant disciplines
• Holder of Certified Public Accountant qualification in China
• Minimum 10 years'relevant experience, with exposure in MNC WOFE is a must
• In-depth knowledge of China and international accounting principle and tax laws / regulation
• Proficient in using software including Kingdee K3, SAP and MS office
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Good business and financial acumen
• Self-driven, result oriented and able to work under pressure
• Immediately available is preferred
