职位描述
Job Purpose
Lead the Quality team of Quality Engineers and Inspectors throughout Asia. Further develop strategies with the customers and team to fulfill and exceed customers and legal quality requirements. Deep involvement in technical engineering and design of new product developments.
Key Result Areas
High level planning
* Lead and manage the Quality team across Asia
* Monitor and control quality related Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and vendor base
* Monitor and control operational costs
* Develop strategies with the individual customers to fulfill and exceed their quality and the legal requirements
Develop new Quality team set up
* Build up a strong and experienced Quality Engineer (QE) team who will be responsible for samples and product development (quality)
* Build up a strong and experienced QC team across Asia covering all areas of production for our customers
Supplier management
* Identify a limited strategic supplier base by product category together with Merchandise Manager
* Regular review of factory capabilities and processes together with Merchandise Manager
* Train key suppliers annually on legal requirement updates and customers quality requirements
* Ensure a high delivery performance and low rejection ratio with the team by having a close order follow up
Management
* Supervise the workload and development of Quality team
* Monitor team performance and conduct regular internal trainings
* Create a SOP (standard operation procedure) for the Quality team across Asia

Qualifications, experience and skills
* Proficiency in both written and spoken Mandarin and English
* Hardline Quality specialist with at least 10 years work experience
* Product technical engineering and design experience
* Passionate about product development and team supervision
* Commercial understanding of the markets and price structure
* Understanding of product cost components, raw materials costs & factory capability
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Ability to influence and motivate people
* Ability to develop strong external relationships
* Independent and able to work of own initiative
* Able to travel frequently and be out in the field
