Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor



Role Description:



Effectively managing costs on a variety of new and existing construction projects.


Assisting in identifying client requirements, and delivering a professional, expert service.


Undertaking cost analysis by estimating packages and applying cost ratios. Using a sound knowledge of current market rates and awareness of market conditions, including inflation.


Establishing and operating cost and financial control systems


Understanding risk and value management and cost control, being able to deliver a total project estimate.


Negotiating to ensure budgets are not exceeded


Utilising experience in procurement matters


Appreciating and accurately forecasting final account figures, managing total project costs.


Preparing and delivering detailed cost plans.


Analyse project outcomes and create financial progress reports.


Utilising commercial awareness to develop the business, whilst upholding the core values and objectives of the firm.


Building long-term relationships based upon mutual trust and respect with our Clients and fellow professionals.


Keeping up-to-date with various building contracts currently in use, improving knowledge relevant to contract conditions and how they are applied

You will be an enthusiastic, focused individual who is committed to providing the highest levels of care and service to clients.




Quals/Experience



With a proactive and flexible approach, you will be able to work to deadlines and apply your commercial awareness to promote the business.

The need to multi-task is essential, along with good working knowledge of hotel M&E systems, and excellent communication skills.



You will ideally be a chartered surveyor (or equivalent international qualification), with a minimum of 7 years post qualification experience. However, we will consider candidates with less experience provided their track record is outstanding.



You will be bilingual English and Mandarin
