Marketing Assistant (Shanghai Office)
Mission:
Gathers, qualifies and report relevant market data from external and internal sources, translates data in relevant information, initiates, acquires, operates desk research, tracks and analyzes relevant market data, competitive information and customer data. Executes Market Analysis on regular and ad hoc basis. Supports marketing communication activities.
Responsibilities:
-Scans internet, magazines and newspapers for news
-Selects relevant news for Dockwise.
-Qualifies the selected news.
-Reformats and stores the selected news in marketing information system
-Supports the Marketing Information Manager to acquire and analyze relevant market data from external and internal sources.
-Translates data in relevant information, operates desk research, tracks and analyzes relevant market data, competitive information and customer data.
-Executes ad hoc marketing analyses and assists with regular Marketing Intelligence reporting.
-Maintains the marketing information system, keeps up to date, exclude doubles. Also initiates improvements.
-Gathers and reports internal management information
-Support sales team with lead generation and information
-Acts as a backup for the marketing information manager.
-Acts as a backup for the Senior Marketing Specialist.
-Supports agreed marketing communication activities
-Advises and supports relevant departments in the organization with market, competitive and customer information.
-Works closely with the commercial departments in the different offices around the world to provide and gather relevant market information.
-Maintains relationships with data source and research agencies, potential clients, and internal clients.
-Supports relevant departments in the organization with relevant data and coordination with foreign offices.
-Supports the coordination of the marketing information teams in regional offices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or higher in Marketing or relevant discipline
- Knowledge and 1 yr experience in market research.
- Affinity with Oil & Gas and Shipping Industry
- MS Office, Excel on professional level
- Database management
- Power Point presentation skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, both verbally and in writing.
