Job Description

L'Amourose is seeking a marketing assistant to help prepare for various marketing activities in the US and Western European markets. The ideal candidate will be experienced and adept at organizing and carrying out a marketing program for consumer health products. The ideal candidate should be well-organized, mature, and highly motivated. The new manager will have the opportunity to take on a key and influential role within the company, gain valuable experience across the several functions and be rewarded as the company expands.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

-Engage in brand management; building brand awareness in new markets and maintaining brand image where awareness gap has been narrowed.
-Contribute to development of marketing collateral.
-Direct sales in target markets; targeting, tracking and executing leads.
-Participate in trade shows and associated direct marketing activities.

SKILLS

-Foundational knowledge of marketing principles and techniques;
-Strong sense of brand image.
-Knowledge of consumer tastes, economic and social situation in – broadly speaking – North America Western Europe.
-Superior analytical and critical thinking skills.
-Ability engage tactically with customers and market while remaining in strategic framework and maintaining brand integrity
-Demonstrated ability to take initiative, prioritize, and meet deadlines under pressure.

QUALIFICATIONS

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
-Fluency in spoken and written English; exceptions will be made for candidate with language skills useful in target markets.
-Experience in marketing or related field
-Excellent writing skills; creative writing skills a plus.
