Position: Technical Accessory - Electrics

Location: Beijing

Your Responsibilities:

1. Task range development process
Significant development responsibility in order to reach cost targets for localized electric and electronic products, managing activities in case of conflicting goals and coordinating countermeasures for releases of VWZ with affected divisions and departments.
2. Task range Homologation process
Managing of the homologation process with JV and external supplier. Tracking of the timeline for development and homologation standards. Coordinating and preparation of physical examples for homologation process.
3. Task range Legal requirements related to accessory and lifestyle electric and electronic products
The legal requirements are very complex and e.g. in the case of lifestyle products they change very often and/or new regulations are introduced. Expert’s knowhow has to be built up. Representation of VCRA and VCRA’s interests versus official authorities. Good networking abilities regarding other OEMs, brands, official authorities are necessary to be able to do lobbying activities.
4. Task range Responsibility
Leadership of intercultural and hetero lingual accessory technical teams for the responsible products; these accessory technical teams consist of suppliers and JV accessory technical team members of involved departments and corporations and possibly Joint-Venture-representatives and external workers. Takeover of cross functional tasks and specific tasks.

? 8-10 years related working experience

Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):
? English and Mandarin Chinese are essential, German advantageous
? IT: Microsoft Office
