Responsibilities:
1 Maintains the China Market Intelligence Database
2 Provides input to market development projects, market specifications, marketing plans
3 Collect, analyse, consolidate and evaluate competitive & market information. Covered information include production and sales quantities, specification, price, and total value for our covered products and our customers' products (mobile machinery)
4 Present a single accurate and consistent accounting of the data.
5 Present information in an easily accessible and understandable format for use of related personnel in the organization. This includes support for tool development.
6 Support the China Marketing Team in identifying target market segments based on selected business KPIs. Identify market trends.
7 Provide analytical support for various business team
8 Provide input to Executive and Board presentations and other regular reports
9 Administrate the market intelligence database system, including continuous improvement and user support
10 Develop and generate standard database reports based on user requirements
11 Monitor and manage the quality and content of the database systems in cooperation with the users
12 Responsible for managing relations to external market data providers
13 Participate in and support of special tasks and research projects
14 The scope of the position is the China market. Coordinate with other locations in support of our business in the China market, and in support of a globally consistent market intelligence approach.

Qualification:
1 University degree in marketing or economics or related with strong affinity to technology. A technical degree (e.g. engineering) is a plus.
2 Five or more years qualified experience, ideally in an industry related to Sauer-Danfoss' products and applications
3 Knowledge in mobile, off-highway applications and the related market segments
4 Preferably knowledge of hydraulic and electro-hydraulic components and systems.
5 Experience with OEM customers in an international environment
6 Expertise in databases
7 Expertise in MS SharePoint
8 High level of proficiency in MS Office tools, in particular Excel and PowerPoint,
9 Fluent in English and Chinese; verbal and written
10 Ability to work in global and virtual team environments
11 Very strong analytical and data management skills
12 Very good presentation and facilitation skills
13 Good technical understanding
14 Communication and networking capabilities
15 Systematic and structured work approach
16 Customer oriented and holistic thinking
