Herbert Kannegiesser GmbH, a German based world leader dedicated to automatic industrial laundry systems, is now looking for a Senior Technician to fill an opening in Beijing reporting to its Shanghai Representative Office.

This incumbent will be responsible for technical support, advice and trouble shooting for customers selling or using Kannegiesser products and systems across Mainland China. He possesses not only highly specialized technical knowledge on Kannegiesser machinery and systems, but also demonstrates unmatched skills gained from years of practical experience, such as machine installation, commissioning, servicing and civil engineering. He should also collaborate closely with global and Asian service team, spare parts team, and China sales team to improve and maintain good reputation of Kannegiesser brand in China market by significantly enhancing Kannegiesser service capability through proper implementation of each project, prompt response to service and spare parts demand, and improving awareness of machine maintenance among customers.
This position reports to Chief Representative China.

Basic Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree and above in machinery, or industrial automation. Love machines.
2. Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English. Understanding German is preferred.
3. At least 6 years of experience of being a service engineer with solid records of hands-on experience of big projects installation, problem solving and project management.
4. Based in Shanghai, but willing to travel and visit customers all over China frequently up to 75% of total working time.
5. Good at MS office and autoCAD drawing, PLC and PC network.

1. Highly self-motivated, self-disciplined, independent, well-organized and mature.
2. Willing to work efficiently, effectively and flexibly under high pressure dynamic environment. See challenges and changes as normal part of life. Actively seek ways to solve problems than waiting for help or keeping on complaining.
3. Good people skill.

Preferred Additional/Specialized Knowledge
1. Knowledge of central laundry business is not must, but preferred.
2. Knowledge of boiler system, thermodynamics, linen, detergent, and civil engineering.
3. People management experience is not required at this moment. But candidate with such experience will be preferentially considered.
