职位描述

Purpose of Vice General Manager

The general manager bears the responsibility for governing the organization and ensure the strategy and policy development. The General Manager leads up and encourages the organization, so that the objectives are achieved within the management frameworks of the board of directors.


Main activities

- To develop and implement the strategy and organizational goals

- Lining the central administration and an effective decision-making

- Giving direction to the Sales manager, Technical manager, Project manager and Finance

manager.

- Setting frameworks within which delegation of power takes place

- Maintaining internal and external relations

- The approval of budgets

- Accountability to the board of directors

Managing the organization(al) parts

- Provides periodic reports to the Board and ensures that the objectives are achieved.

- The co-development of tools for the managing of the organization.

- Advice regarding the development of models for insight into the degree of realization of the

goals of the organization and the quality of processes.

- Directly responsible for developing and maintaining the relations with the main key accounts,

partners and local authorities.

- The annual preparation of operating and investment budget. Remains within the established

budget, identifies possible overruns in time and take necessary measures. Performs regular

consultation with managers.

- Report to the Board on organizational plans and performance on a regular basis.

- Management information is comprehensive, consistent and reliable.



Personnel

- The administration of the whole company; creates conditions for the proper functioning of the

respective units; coaches and supports managers in the implementation and organization of

service to the organization.

- The implementation of the personnel and organization policy. Ensure an adequate qualitative

and quantitative mobilization of people and resources so that continuity and quality of service is

guaranteed.

- The optimal cooperation between the different business areas and other body parts. Has

regularly consultations, ensures good communication and information, identify problems early

and take appropriate measures to resolve the situation.

- Coaching the employees; for example by discussing the strategy to be followed on a case;

- Stimulating initiatives and create a pro-active attitude within the organization to create an

environment that challenges the employees to deploy all their talents and capabilities;

- Ensuring that Geerlofs policies are understood and followed by the employees;

- Responsible for evaluating the performance of the managers on individual basis several times

per year according to the company policy;






Knowledge

The Vice General manager has an academic work and thinking level and demonstrable current

knowledge and management experience in a relevant environment for the post. A broad knowledge and experience with strategic policy and its translation to the business. The

General manager has knowledge of and experience with complex change. Knowledge is being kept followed by additional training and literature.


Independence

The Vice General manager is able to formulate strategic policy and will also ensure the creation of these. Organizes the work of others on the basis of general guidelines. The general manager shall make it accountable to the Board.


Social skills

The Vice General manager is able to motivate and instruct employees. Develops and promotes

cooperation and is tactful in the many internal and external contacts. Is able to manage

contradictions by coordinating policy issues. Has preponderance to others and can handle conflict.


Risks, responsibilities and influence.

The Vice General manager has the final responsibility for the management of Geerlofs Kunming. Also

responsible for the creation of the strategy of the establishment and implementation of the

substantive policy organization, finance and market position.


Specific act requirements

The Vice General manager has an analytical ability to translate strategic policies into operational policies.
