The incubation team under CSTO is responsible for execution of quick proof of concept (POC) projects to explore new technology vision and product areas for the company. The POC may target solutions at the chip, board, subsystem and system level focusing on Hyperscale data center applications but it may span other PMC’s product areas. The primary technology areas include innovative server architectures, storage system architectures, transport and switching systems, non-volatile memory systems.
As a member of the incubation team, the candidate will be supervised by the CSTO fellow and other senior architects, and be engaged in the hardware/system design of the POC concepts.

Responsibilities:
Leader or Principal level hardware/system engineer for implementing proof of concept systems
Oversees hardware system specification, design and implementation
Work closely with software developers to deliver complete system/solutions
Integrate PMC and third party chips/IP at FPGA level and system level
Develop RTL to implement architecture concepts required to complete the system design
Specify and manage external contractor for RTL/FPGA/board schematic/board layout/system integration works
Represent PMC in technical discussions with external partners/customers
Represent POC team to present the system architecture to the company for building up internal support or for hand off of the project to other execution teams

Qualifications:
BE of engineering from top universities
8~15 years of system/hardware design in server/storage/telecommunication industry
Ability to ramp up quickly in new technical areas
Creative thinker
Good communication skill in both English and Chinese
Hardware engineering
Quick in hands on execution
Ability to operate independently to carry out the entire life cycle of system design
