职位描述
Position: Manager Product Marketing
Division: Mrktg-BWD
Location: Shanghai
As a Product Marketing Manager in PMC-Sierra’s Strategic Marketing group, you will be a key member in a team that is responsible for developing and implementing a product strategy that targets the next generation radio access equipment in the Wireless Infrastructure market.
The individual will contribute to the entire product planning cycle, which includes responsibilities such as:
Developing a good understanding of wireless infrastructure eco-system including operators, OEMs and component suppliers
Defining product and market strategy to offer unique values to our target customers.
Creating a pricing strategy to win the business profitably and aligns with PMC’s operating model
Working closely with the sales team to define and implement a plan to secure design wins
Identifying and working with partners that together we can offer synergistic solutions to the target OEMs to win more market share
Defining the necessary collaterals to help customers get to market quickly at a lower cost to PMC
Working with PMC’s production team to ensure we have a competitive cost structure
Responsibilities:
Build and Maintain Relationships with Target OEMs
Work with PMC’s sales team to develop good rapport with business and technical leaders at the target OEMs
Identify new product opportunities at the target OEMs that can be solved with PMC’s core competencies
Focus aggressively on winning designs across multiple product platforms and successive generations
Drive successful business plans and account plans
Develop and Implement Product Strategy and Business Case
Provide strategy leadership and guidance to the application engineering, sales, and product development groups
Determine positioning, key messages, benefits and differentiators for new products
Ensure market strategy stays current with changing market and competitive conditions, as well as evolving internal priorities and product availability
Take responsibility for ensuring that market research and competitive analysis is sufficient and is delivered in a proactive and timely manner for marketing and sales strategy (e.g., competitive analysis, market trend analysis, market metrics analysis, etc.)
Ensure successful product launches, including packaging, collateral content development, marketing campaigns, timeline, internal sales training on campaigns etc
Provide timely, relevant communication to internal stakeholders regarding market strategy and be available for external communication regarding market strategy and key messaging
Effectively communicates marketing strategy and value proposition to external stakeholders as required
Qualifications:
The successful candidate has:
Able to communicate in Chinese and English.
Experience with marketing/selling into wireless equipment manufacturer, preferably RF radio components such as DAC’s, ADC’s.
Semiconductor marketing experience with technical and architecture knowledge in the radio base station market.
Minimum undergraduate degree in electrical engineering. An MBA or Master’s degree in a related discipline is beneficial, but not necessary.
Demonstrated ability to understand and develop plans and strategies to communicate clearly about complex business issues, technology solutions, differentiation and value propositions
Solid understanding of the semiconductor market and keen vigilance of current and changing market conditions and product knowledge.
The ability to multi-task and a reputation for being results and customer-driven
Prides themselves on their dedication and professionalism in internal and external relationship building and negotiation
Ability to travel. Most travel will be within the Asia Pacific region.
