Scope
Maintenance management for airport baggage handling system
Work pattern
1. Day time Mo-Fri. Flexibility to temporarily adjust schedule if needed
2. Response to infrequent calls outside regular working hours and/or request to support on site
3. Location: Shanghai Pudong Airport.
Job purpose statement
1. Manage the maintenance crew and activities of service contract
2. Proactively improve the maintenance and the operational performance of the system
Qualification and abilities
1. Technical education
2. Minimal 5 years experience in technical maintenance functions for automated capital equipment (electro- mechanical and/or PLC)
3. Experience with airport baggage handling system is preferred
4. Minimal 4 years experience in management / team leader function
5. Team & relationship builder
6. Experience in cooperation with external customer
7. Good verbal skills in Chinese & English languages
8. Proper communicative capabilities & relationship management
9. Able to work under and cope with pressure
Responsibilities
1. Manage the maintenance crew & activities
2. Improve performance of maintenance crew & activities
3. Perform continuous communications with customer and the internal organization
4. Realize strong relationship with customer (system end-user)
List of key activities
1. Manage maintenance engineers for continuous inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance
2. Schedule and distribute maintenance activities, using computerized maintenance management system
3. Manage on-site spare parts stock and coordinate replenishment
4. Continuous consultation with customer regarding activities, planning & improvements
5. Define improvement opportunities and coordinate implementation (such as revisions and modifications)
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with customer operations team
7. Report and coordinate system issues to the various available hotlines (both Chinese and English language)
8. Periodical reporting on the performance of the maintenance and the system
