With continued growth in waterparks and demand for the ProSlide rides, we are currently recruiting for an:


Project Manager - China

The individual will be responsible for the active management of projects within established schedules and budgets, typically from the engineering phase through to final inspection and ride testing. This important role requires an energetic self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and the willingness to undertake international travel as and when required.

Specific Responsibilities:

? Managing and overseeing multiple projects concurrently, focusing on on-time delivery, maximizing margin through cost control and revenue enhancement and minimizing warranty claims through effective quality control.
? Act as the prime point of contact and liaison between the client, ProSlide and its partners.
? Prepare, analyze, review, approve and manage the execution of project paperwork, including costing, estimating, contract documents, project schedules, budgets, invoices, applications for payment, change orders, cost reports, purchase orders, subcontractor bid documentation, project close-out reports and other paperwork necessary to manage and document projects through their lifespan.
? Monitor and manage the activities of the Installation Team, Technical Advisors and subcontractors on the project job site to ensure optimum consistency of methods, results, adherence to schedules and achievement within budget limitations.
? Review, code and approve invoices from vendors and time sheets generated by the Installation Team.
? Assist with the timely collection of revenue from clients.
? Manage procurement activities including sourcing of new materials and vendors.
? Provide regular input, guidance and performance feedback to the installation team.
? Participate in the hiring and evaluation of installation personnel and the selection of contract personnel for specific work assignments.
? Timely reporting of project variances from established schedules and budgets.
? Provide assistance to the Director of Finance with maintaining and updating ProSlide’s Cost Advisor.
? Liaise with various departments (sales, engineering, procurement, shipping, manufacturing, etc.) to complete project paperwork and maintain appropriate project records.
? Responsible for health and safety matters and to ensure ProSlide’s Job Safety Program is adhered to in accordance with industry’s best practices.
? Execute responsibilities according to lawful and ethical standards in a manner that is consistent with ProSlide’s corporate values.
? All other duties as required.

Location & Travel Requirements:
? Shanghai with travel to manufacturing facilities and/ project sites.
? A valid passport and the ability to travel without restriction to Canada and throughout Asia Pacific.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:
? Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in construction with considerable time spent on the project site .
? Education – Project Management Professional designation or a combination of equivalent experience and education e.g. Advanced Project Management Certificate.
? Registered Project Manager (Level 1) is an asset
? Hands on experience with MS Project and other project management tools considered an asset.
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
? Must be prepared and capable of travelling to Canada and throughout China on a regular basis.
? Detailed oriented with exceptional analytical skills and the ability to deal with all things financial as they relate to the projects on hand.
? Ability to develop and maintain internal and external working relationships with all levels of the organization.
? Innovative and open to new concepts, proactive and solutions orientated.
? Passionate about continuous improvement assisting in the growth of the company, increasing efficiency, service and overall productivity.
? Excellent time management, multi task, organization and priority defining skills.
? Exceptional ability to listen, communicate and collaborate.
? The ability to communicate in Chinese and English with good written/oral communication skills in both languages.
? Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced, fun and professional environment.

具体职责:
? 同时管理和负责多个工程项目,确保工程按时完工。通过成本有效控制和收入提高,确保项目利润最大化。通过有效的工程质量管理,减少质量保证期内索赔事项发生。
? 作为宝澜公司于其客户的主要联系人和沟通者。
? 准备、分析、审核、批准和管理项目的各项文书。包括项目成本、预算、合同文件、项目进度、概算、发票、付款申请、修改订单、成本报告、采购订单、分报投标文件、项目竣工报告和其它在整个项目管理中的有关文件。
? 现场监管安装方、技术顾问和分报商的各项事项,在预算范围内,根据既定计划与目标要求,确保实施方法与成效的优化。
? 审核、编号和批准供货商发票和安装方提交的时间表.
? 协助按时从客户方收款。
? 管理各项采购活动,包括寻找新材料和供货商。
? 向安装方提供建议、指导和安装执行反馈。
? 参与招聘和安装人员的评价工作。参加特定工作任务的分包人员遴选。
? 协助财务总监更新公司的财务成本记录,并报告公司成本顾问。
? 协调各部门(销售、工程、采购、运输、制造等部门)完成各种项目文件和保持完整的项目记录。
? 负责现场健康与安全问题,确保宝澜公司的安全措施遵守业内最高标准。
? 根据法律和道德标准,遵循宝澜公司的价值标准,执行岗位职责。
? 其他需要的工作指责。

工作地点和出差要求

? 办公地点为上海,经常出差到项目现场和设备厂家。
? 持有效护照,能前往加拿大和整个亚太地区。

任职资格:

? 至少5 - 7 年施工单位或现场施工工作经验
? 教育背景- 具有职业项目管理证书或相当工作经验和教育背景,例如:高级项目管理证书。
? 一级注册建造师优先
? 熟练掌握微软项目管理软件和其他项目管理软件优先。
? 熟练运用微软办公软件。
? 必须能定期前往加拿大和在中国国内出差。
? 注重细节,具备良好分析能力,处理解决所有与项目财务相关事项。
? 具备与公司内部各部门保持良好的工作关系能力。
? 具有开放、创新工作理念,积极主动解决各类问题。
? 积极对项目管理工作进行改进,协助公司业务发展,提高效率,服务水平和整体生产力。
? 精通时间管理,能同时胜任多项任务执行。具备良好组织与判别任务优先次序能力。
