Major Areas of Accountability:

1.Provides customers, distributors and MTS sales personnel with technical support for MTS sensors products. Technical support consists of both pre and post sales work.

2.Pre-sales support involves recommending specific products based on applications knowledge and the specific needs of customers, and supporting Customer Service to complete the request contacting the customers and defining the best product for their need.

3.Post sales support involves on site troubleshooting. Travelling by the customer, verifying the application and identifying the root cause of the problem and the solution. Reporting in a logical manner the situation, the findings, the suggested solution / the follow up activity needed to close the question and taking the Responsibility to follow up in the best/fast way in order to solve the customer issue, engaging local resources / Sensor group resources.

4.Actively contacts customers for more information and organizes sales calls where necessary and follows up to ensure usage of information provided to Sales. Works together with customers on model creation and pricing (when required) to ensure a smooth handoff to CS department.

5.Travels with field sales to visit customers for the purpose of providing applications consulting, identifying new opportunities, and providing technical updates to the market.

6.Develops and maintains a working knowledge of new and existing products and specializes on specific product lines as assigned. Works closely with local/global Quality Assurance, Repair, and Engineering to identify and resolve field quality issues as needed.

7.Carries and responds to pager/phone calls in support of timely technical assistance service.

8.Evaluates the technical and business feasibility of custom (small volume) products as well as overseeing the processing of custom orders. Also, provides customers with quotations on customized product(s) as directed by product management.

9.Provide technical support to marketing activities (exhibition, workshop, advertisement ….), collect and qualify the leads of potential customers.

10.Participates in customer and distributor training programs, including developing presentations for new programs or new products as needed.

11. Undertakes special projects as assigned or as needed for improving customer satisfaction such as but not limited to special documentation for troubleshooting purposes or systems for easy conversion from old to new products.
Qualifications:

12. Provides feedback to global product management, marketing, QA, manufacturing and design engineering concerning product performance for the purpose of product and customer satisfaction improvement. Also provides market information concerning new potential business opportunities to marketing and product management.

13. Knows and applies the division’s quality policy and procedures of ISO-9001 and it relates to area of responsibility. Follow all standard operating procedures as prescribed and notifies appropriate personnel of any non-conformance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline with min. 3 years of applicable experience; Experience of using Industrial sensor is preferred;
- Ability to understand basic engineering documents, drawings, and measured data;

- Ability to understand sensor technical specifications and to read, analyze, and interpret basic engineering

data;

- Ability to understand basic sensor programming and PLC setup;

- Ability to understand the EMC knowledge and solve the relate problem in the site;

- Good technical writing and verbal communications skills;

- Demonstrated ability to use computers and common business applications (MS Office, etc).
