JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for Production Support Transition Engineer. The role would be based in Shanghai . You will be responsible for project relevant hardware and after-sell services quotation, IT Support Services organization supports, maintains and enhances Oracle's infrastructure of our clients. You will be the second level Desktop Support Engineer mainly focus but not limited on PC hardware & software troubleshooting and resolution for System Requests that are raised by customer users in China , the first level support, is not able to resolve. The System Request covers wide range of technology such as PC Hardware, Windows XP, MS office, IE, Printing, Symantec AntiVirus and etc.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

· You will respond and solve Service Request in your queues in a timely manner

· Ability to manage multiple resources - can manage their section of the project plan, status reporting and team member activity plans.

· You will share experience/knowledge with peers actively and have it documented

· You will keep yourself up to date with the new technology defined as corporation's standards. You experienced in MCP / MCSE, MS Exchange, ADS Design, Implementation and Administration, MS Policies, Domain Know-how, Linux, Backup and Server – Client know how

QUALIFICATIONS:

· A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. MCSE certificate is required.
. Fluent in English, be able to communicate with German colleagues and customers.
. Must be experienced at working in a client facing role dealing with potentially difficult client managers.
. Must be capable of creating support documents and critically reviewing document.
· Should have 3-5 years working knowledge
· Excellent skills on PC hardware and software troubleshooting
· Familiar with the office LAN/WAN and TCP/IP protocols.
· Proven analytical and problem solving skills
· Patient, responsible and customer & quality oriented
· Overtime work is required sometimes
