职位描述

Position: Commodity Management- Electrics

Location: Beijing

Your Responsibilities:

1. Cost Management
? Determine an annual purchase-budget for commodity Electrics; scheduling expenditures; track and report cost-development and expenditure-status; analyze variances; initiate optimization actions.
? Develop product-specific sourcing strategies, share-allocation; consider JV-needs and brand-&region requirements. Drive continuous cost-reduction measures to maximize product-margin of individual Electrics product.
? Initiate cost planning and evaluation process: Supply-market testing; Initial price determined by competitive bid, and on-going negotiations thereafter.
? Detailed cost structure analysis in order to identify the primary cost drivers. Price change control: Ceilings established on future price changes; Cost-control, determine the total cost of ownership; evaluate the production efficiencies / machine utilization.
? Set standard costs at item, product and supplier level at each unit; determine target-cost for individual product inquiry.
? Define longer-term agreements with suppliers linked to projects and price: Productivity improvement goals; Percentage of economics and Cost saving sharing.
? Conduct volume bundling with JV, VW Group brands and region to achieve scale effect linked to price.
? Explore competitive potential suppliers; effectively beat out the monopoly competition.
2. Product-group management of commodity Electrics:
? Comprehensive knowledge of Volkswagen original accessory Electrics-products; initiate and conduct cross-model Electrics product-analysis to develop and realize purchasing synergy of cross-model projects.
? Frontier-depth supply market interaction; acquire, evaluate and judge information of state of the technique, production technologies and benchmark analysis of competitive products.
? Represent purchasing division in original accessory Electrics-products related product forums, workshops with Technic, Quality Assurance and Product management for brands and region.
? Integrate the international supply-market from a group perspective.
? Identify leading edge technique, production technologies and potential application on Volkswagen original accessory Electrics-products; develop / propose product improvement measures.
3. Project management for localization (LC) projects
? Lead project scoping for the localization process: Generate localization plan; allocate localization-goals to individual work-packages of cooperating function-departments; establish a baseline for measuring performance.
? Effectively communicate project information to LC-project-team members. Coordinate technic, production, and quality function departments to create appropriate production and release timelines; Organize project team commitment-meeting.
? Critical chain project management: convey project changes and update to appropriate LC-project-team members. Exploit the constraint, provide solutions and tasks on the critical chain; give priority over all other activities.
? Manage LC-project-team in the multi-project environments; enforce policies and procedures; control and monitoring LC-Plan execution; review deliverables of technic, production, and quality; present the achievements to project stakeholders.

4. Sourcing of the original accessory Electrics-products.
? Lead intercultural cross-entity sourcing team members from various departments of brands and region; motivate them for project-dedication.
? Responsible for sourcing-strategy-definition with Group- and JV-Commodity purchasing; based on competition situation; product definition and profit-calculation, incl. integration of supply-market situation.
? Judge and determine potential suppliers for project bidding process.
? Supervise cross-departments Sourcing-Kick-Off meetings; align on project specific concept and integrate cross-JV and Group technic, production, and quality function departments to create appropriate priorities and auditing timelines.
? Evaluate cost structure and set cost-target for individual product, incl. tooling investment and payment-regulation.
? Direct common sourcing inquiry-process; Manage decision-making procedures in case of functional conflicting goals between competing objectives based on proposals of sourcing teams, if necessary escalation in purchasing sourcing committees.
? Self-dependent development of negotiation strategy and tactics; drive negotiation; adjust negotiation strategy and tactics based on outcome; define purchasing cost target and optimize the cost, investment and time line.
? Present sourcing strategy, time schedule and result of the sourcing activities; present the methodology and result of the overall common sourcing team to Top Management.
? Recommend supplier-nomination with the most competitive cost and time schedule. Get approval of Top Management on CSC-decision Meetings.
? Establish the serial supply-chain management team with direct link to Technic, Quality and Logistic after legally and compliance-conform contract closing to suppliers and service-providers.
? Monitor the serial production of the supplier. Ensure timely and accurate inbound supply of the original accessory Electrics-products to JV-Production plants or distribution and outbound export to VW Group-wide brands and region.

5. Supplier Management: Supplier performance management and risk management
? Overall understand the national and international supply-market; incl. competitive environment; ranking of each Top player. Integrate Global players and local suppliers into a reasonable competition environment.
? With VCRA commodity purchasing in the lead, manage the supply-chain; cross-entity and cross-functional partners, such as Quality, Technic and Logistics are an integral part of the entire supplier/ and service-providers monitoring process.
? Manage actual supplier-performance, identify gaps and agreement of actions to achieve reduced costs, reduced risks, and increased value.
? Lead systematic Supplier Risk Management for identification and evaluation of potential risks and, based on it, implement appropriate measures for control over these risks.
? Set standardized criteria as the basis for this evaluation and enables a comparison of the results. The evaluation includes: Business Collaboration, Operational Competence, Financial credibility, Sustainability and Business Continuity.
? Alleviate risks, decide on counter measures to reduce risks; safeguard the competitive cost-advantage through a continuous improvement of supplier base.

6. Carry out specific duties related to the post holders’ roll according to his/her skills and experience

Working experience (in years):
? 5 years of working experience in automotive sector of related functions with personnel responsibility
Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):
? English and Mandarin Chinese are essential, German advantageous
? IT: Microsoft Office
