Job Responsibilities:

- EMC Design

· Perform EMC reviews of and manage EMC requirements on PCB (Printed Circuit Board) designs

· Perform EMC reviews of schematic designs

· Proactively address EMC concerns in product development

· Understand manufacturing impacts to electronic designs

· Use EDA tools to communicate EMC design recommendations

- EMC Testing and Product troubleshooting

· Review and give feedback on EMC test plans

· Perform EMC tests in a pre-compliance laboratory environment

· Perform root-cause analysis and develop countermeasures

- EMC Simulations and Analysis

· Perform EMC simulations in with 2D, 3D electromagnetic tools

· Develop simulation models for components

· Interpret results from simulations to impact designs

· Compare simulation results with physical measurements

- EMC pre-compliance laboratory management

· Maintaince the EMC test fasilities in the laboratory

· Plan and exucte the EMC capability ramp activities in CTC

- EMC Management and Customer Interface

· Take initiative to prevent EMC failures on electronic products

· Support customer conference calls / visits

· Write technical reports to communicate EMC status and document product analysis in corporate tracking tool

· Support EMC Mechanical / Electronics Reviews / Releases

· Support department initiatives

· Support urgent EMC product issues

- EMC Training

· Attend technical training opportunities and symposia to maintain expertise

· Train hardware, mechanical and PCB engineers on EMC concepts and principles

· Use simulation tools and physical measurements to support training

- Advancement Opportunities

· Maintain EMC Failure Analysis Database Reports

· Process and tool improvements in EMC and Electronics

· Attend customer quote activities and architectural reviews to influence new product concepts and introduce EMC countermeasures

- Author and present technical papers and workshops at internal or external events to increase contributions to the EMC industry, join monthly global EMC community communication meeting

Qualification Requirements:

- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field accepted;

- Minimum 5 years EMC design activities, 3 years in Automotive Electronics

- Know well Automotive EMC International standard and OEM standard

- Analytical approach to problem solving

- Good practical knowledge of CAD/ CAE tools (preferably Mentor Graphics & CST tools)

- Previous experience with solving EMC issues by performing simulations, running tests, analyzing and reporting status

- Ability to successfully interact and communicate with people from other cultures and those who speak other languages

- Experience with Labview is preferred

- Desire to gain new knowledge and skills

- Effective communication in both written and verbal English

- Analytical and systematical approach

- Good communication skills

- Fluent in both verbal and written English
