-For our Power Generation Service in Shanghai we are looking for a Service Engineer at the earliest opportunity.

What are my responsibilities?
-The primary responsibility of this position is to provide engineering support for the Siemens power plants within the region Asia (RAS) and region South-Pacific (RSP). The main focus here lies with technical service support. This task requires providing qualified and timely technical solutions for various technical questions from external as well as internal customers (e.g. sales, marketing and field service). To develop a solution close collaboration with the technical departments in the head quaters (Muelheim/Germany and Orlando/USA) is required.
-Main responsibilities are as follows:
-support the preparation of maintenance outages as part of cross functional and global teams
on site support during power plant outages
-provide technical risk assessment analysis to support project management during their offer process with the customers
-provide technical support for regional sales, field service and marketing
-support during analysis of damage events and elaboration of improvement measures
-provide technical solutions supporting customer requirements and present them during internal and external meetings

What do I need to qualify for this job?
-University degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
-Advanced knowledge of engineering design methods
-Basic knowledge in power plant technology, preferred gas turbine technology

-Project Management skills as well as presentation skills
-long-term experience with Chinese culture, preferred Chinese native
-English Fluent, German and Chinese as a plus
-Results Orientation, Customer Focus, Team Skills, Ability to learn
