Department Description: Logistics Procurement APAC Tasks Description Position: Major Tasks Operational Competencies 1. Contribute to develop a strategic procurement organization with a focus on developing, planning and implementing regional 3rd Party/4th Party Logistics concept and Alpha Saving Strategy as well as the regional tendering process. This includes but not limit to the Logistics Procurement Service Type like (1) supply chain operation outsourcing service (2) intra/inter region shipments (3) parcel tanker and ISO tank service, (4) Inland transportation and (5) warehousing service etc. 2. Responsible for Logistics Service Sourcing & Purchasing Execution on regional level with the support by APAC Local SCC team. 3. Work closely with the team memebers to design, implement and mornitor Logistics Procurement related Procedures & KPI's. 4. Support Head of Logistics Procurement to develop and manage the Regional Logistics Procurement Community to ensure Logitsics strategy, procedure, KPIs implementation in APAC Countries, as well as the knowledge transfer and expertise sharing 5. Ensure all procurement requirements are compliant with internal and external requirement 6. Caretaker of BMSC Audit related to Logistics Procurement Team 7. In charge of the BMS Global Ocean Tender for the APAC region and implentation in China. 8. Payment Approval for BMSC Non-TM3 shipment related shipoment costs with authorization defined by the Head of Logistics Procurement Other tasks assigned by management Procurement Projects in the following cycle: • 4PL integration • 3PL integration and development (eg. Regional Tender) • Procurement Excellence (eg. P4U -E auction, P1P Broadcast Tendering) • Cost structure simplification and standardization (eg. conversion to MT base) • Isotank utilization optimization • RFQ template development • Contract terms and SOP standardization • Cost Calculation/verficiation automation (eg. WCAC) • Other Initiatives and Projects contribute to Alpha Saving and Process standardization, simplification and automation • Support BU Project: (eg. TDI Delist, Baule Project) Behavioral Competencies • Corporate Compliance: Comply with all company guidelines, ISO, ICS or similar standards and serve as “gate-keeper” to highlight issues of non-compliance as well as communicate clearly the importance of compliance to the team members. • Roll Model: Initiate and guide operations and projects in an efficient and creative way to achieve the desirable results and similarly enable team members to actively contribute to assist within those operational and project activities. Managerial Competencies • Stakeholder Mgt.: survey implementation performance levels, obtain stakeholder feedback for improvement and track benefits, e.g. cost saving, interface reduction, and lead time shorten etc. Requirements Description Position: Skills,... • Bachelor or Master Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent • Min. of 5-8 years working experience in logistics procurement in a multi-national organisation, familiar with trading and logitsics related Laws, regulation, industry standards and processes. • Consistently adhere to ethical principles, protect sensitive information • Confident and energetic with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Effective communication across global and regional cross-functional organizations • Strong Negotiation skills in difficult situation • Strategic and Analytical thinking, able to solve problems in complex envirorment and manage conflicts constructively • Self-motivated, take calculated risks, be accountable for actions and results, successes and failures • Open-minded, challenge the status quo and drive changes actively • Able to defend own opinions when facing challenges • Managing relationships, build constructive and effective relationships inside and outside the organisation • Able to work independently and deliver result under pressure • Excellent at spoken and written English and Mandarin • Solid IT Skills, fluent in MS office software • SAP knowledge is necessary in PtP/SD
