- For our Wind Power and Renewables Division in shanghai,we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer--Structural Components Design

What are my responsibilities?

- Designing of various components such as Bearings, Canopy, Bedplate, Hub, Steel parts according to relevant ISO/EN/GB standards and design specifications. Make calculations and 2D/3D drawings.

- Work with process engineering to perform the first piece qualification and none-conforming product handling.

- Support the component failure root cause analysis and work with process engineering to finalize the corrective actions.

- Translate technical documents or review the translations.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

- Bachelor or master degree in mechanical, manufacture, metallurgy or relevant areas.

- Familiar with relevant ISO/EN/GB standards for mechanical systems and metal materials.

- Minimum 2 years experience in Bearings design and in depth knowledge of wind turbine components

- Understand basic knowledge of wind turbine such as main performance indicators, main turbine components and their functions, etc. experience in wind industry is a plus.

- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills. Good at coordinating internal and external resources. Team work spirit. Collaboration with local and international teams.

- Familiar with 3D drawing tool like Auto Inventor or similarly tools.

- Fluent in oral and written English.
