Today, with an extensive retail network in China of more than 50 stores, including with over 40 of them under franchise management, we are searching for a high caliber candidate for the newly created role of China Account Manager (Based in Shanghai) to be the key interface with our exclusive Franchise partner to support and drive the Franchised stores’ network.
Objectives and responsibilities

Reporting directly with the Regional Director APAC (based in Hong Kong) as part of a compact China team, you are ultimately responsible for developing a loyal clientele base to support sustainable growth in the China market, by

1. Building strong and trustful relationship with our exclusive franchise partner to support and influence them in consolidating existing franchised POS network and enhancing brand equity (positioning, awareness, market share)
2. balancing and optimizing sales revenue (sell-out and profit) between casual and formal wear; RTW and fashion accessories; regular collection and MtM; in order to meet the changing market demand

Your main responsibilities include:

- assessing growth opportunities and challenges with the Brand's GM of our Franchisee, in order to build strategy and action plan to improve brand image, customer service, store operations...
- reviewing buying budget and orders submitted by the franchisee, making appropriate recommendations and managing buying sessions in Hong Kong (4 times a year) to meet budgeted targets
- conducting store visits to provide product & sales training to retail staff (regular collection and MtM), based on collection and product information presented at the Italy HQ (4 times a year)
- ensuring strong communication with others key functions with China Office (VM & retail), Regional office (VM, Wholesale, Marketing & Communication) and HQ office (product training, sales administration, logistics) to coordinate action and create synergies
- presenting sales analysis and collection performance report to the Regional Director
- investigating and identifying store locations of growth potential
Required qualifications
- You have minimum 8 years of total experience, including 3 to 5 years in commercial, wholesale or franchise management related positions, ideally combined with some retail and brand management experiences
- You have knowledge, experience and passion for fashion accessories and apparels (lifestyle, affordable luxury and luxury), ideally with a focus on menswear for international companies; Exposure to Made-to-Measure is not necessary
- You have a solid knowledge of the China retail fashion market, combined with skills in buying, training, retail operations
- You are excited by the opportunity to bring creative and innovative business approaches to meet the changing demand of the China market, and to work directly with the Head of Asia (Regional APAC Director)
- You are organized and autonomous, combining hands-on approach and strategic mindset
- You have strong communication and negotiation skills, and are able to interact with multiple parties (multi-cultural internal team and external business partner's team)
- You are fluent in Mandarin and English. Knowledge of the Italian language will be a plus
- You are ready to travel around 50% of your time
