MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
? Inputs design for manufacturing criteria to design engineering for the introduction of new products.
? Develops/provides all product/customer specific documentation (i.e. Process instructions, QCP, PFMEA, PPAP, etc.).
? Identifies capital equipment appropriations (CEA’s) and unique tooling required for new product implementation.
? Coordinates the implementation of all design verification, process verification builds and new product launch activities.
? Manage Engineering Change in the plant and organize weekly EC review and implementation meeting.
? Provide support to sample building in different project phases and EC verification, or for customer special order.
? Supports process group in process/tooling development for all product specific processes.
? Utilizes statistical techniques to summarize data to use in presentations.
? Works closely with customer representatives and product integrity group to insure that customer complaints are resolved.

EXPERIENCE
5 years experience in an automotive or mechanics manufacturing engineering environment. Have experience of using ERP system; prefer to have product design experience or experience of product engineer before.
