The Role

CapitalVue is seeking a data analyst to help us develop macroeconomic and industry data products. Work primarily involves ensuring accuracy and timeliness of CapitalVue macroeconomic databases, performing competitive analysis, and identifying additional datasets to be integrated into databases. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Chinese macroeconomic data, be comfortable dealing with large amounts of data, and be detail-oriented.


Responsibilities

- Check data for accuracy, and ensure that data products are up to date
- Recommend improvements to databases, and identify new data suppliers
- Perform competitive analysis of macroeconomic data products
- Structure industry data to provide overview of key sector information
- Ensure quality of in-house databases

Requirements:

- Experience working with macroeconomic databases, including familiarity with key indicators and structure of economic datasets
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics/business/finance preferred but not required
- At least two year’s experience in economic research or related field
- English proficiency

- 在数据库行业有一定经验，包括熟悉具体的宏观经济指标及数据库结构
- 经济/商务/财经类专业优先考虑
- 在财经研究或相关工作领域有至少一年以上工作经验
- 能够胜仍复合型工作内容
- 英语流利
