POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Project Manager will report to the Project Management Leader, and lead customer project management processes.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
1, Manage projects commonly ranging in value from $20 million to $100 million US to produce power plants in China based on GE aero derivative gas turbine technology.
2, Drive customer satisfaction trough effective communication, contract compliance, and meeting expectations with respect to safety, quality and delivery.
3, Manage the execution of customer contracts from contract finalization through contract close out including reporting, receivables, change order and claim negotiation, and issue resolution.
4, Meet HDGE business expectations by managing safety, quality, schedule, cost, margin, cash flow, and risks.
5, Communicate project goals, deliverables, strategies, risks, and opportunities as required internally within HDGE and its parent companies, CHD and GE.
6, Collaborate with internal HDGE functions to manage gas turbine package deliveries and installation & commissioning activities.
7, Protect HDGE’s reputation and technology in the market place.
8, Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in all project management metrics.


QUALIFICATIONS:
1, Minimum Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred)
2, Minimum 3 years of project management or customer management experience (GE experience preferred)
3, Fluent in Chinese and English languages; oral and written, technical and commercial
4, Proven track record of leading multi-cultural teams
5, Strong interpersonal and influence skills


DESIRED:
1, Gas turbine installation and commissioning experience
2, Power plant construction experience
3, Strong fundamental working knowledge of turbomachinery manufacturing and testing processes
4, Prior Six Sigma Quality experience
