SUMMARY
The Senior Service Engineer is responsible for equipment problem solving, commissioning, installation, operator training, service and repair of packaged sewage treatment systems, on-site water purification systems, and ballast water treatment systems used in offshore applications such as Oil & Gas and Marine. The primary goal is to assure continuity of Customer operations and high level of Customer Satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
·Manages sub-contractors and assists with the installation of on-site water purification systems
·Provides customer service and schedule installations and warranty repairs
·Diagnoses system operation and or mechanical problems and provides problem resolution to assure product quality assurance and quality control
·Recommends proper procedures in dismantling of a customer’s equipment in a safe and professional manner
·Provides training to customers, in-house staff and other partners such as ECEP
·Manages service contracts
·Provides interface between customer’s engineering and field operations personnel and company engineering
·Controls and monitors service cost and schedules to meet contractual commitments
·Coordinates purchasing and scheduling of equipment deliveries for installation
·Provides inspections and sign-off of proper installation of equipment
·Writes field service work-orders and maintains records of field directed changes to the installation of equipment for billing purposes.
·Maintains accurate purchase, inventory and installation records
·Reads and interprets blueprints, drawings, technical manuals and diagrams
·Reads and interprets control logic (ladder or STL)
·Ability to make modifications to control logic in PLC and HMI
·Responds to after-hours call-outs as required
·Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions
QUALIFICATIONS
·Knowledge of mechanical installation, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and PLC software
·Knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
·Operation of specialty tools and gauges required for monitoring and testing systems, including chemical test kits
·Domestic and international travel experience
·Fluency in Mandarin and reasonable proficiency in English, Good ability to interpret and communicate
·Certifications and training compliance required to visit and operate on offshore platforms
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS in Engineering or equivalent and 5-10 years’ experience in installation and service of mechanical and electrical equipment, engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver’s license
May require a successful Background Security Clearance Verification
Passport required

Ability to lift 50 lbs
Frequent climbing, stooping, and standing involved in the installation activities
