Sumscope delivers real time pricing data for the OTC fixed income market through its flagship product QuoteBoard (QB). QB is installed on thousands of traders desktops throughout China, and it connects to Sumscopes centralized cloud infrastructure which in turn receives content from numerous data providers.

This role takes complete responsibility for the operation of Sumscope's products, from connection to third party data provider through delivery of the content to our clients' desktops, as well the management of the system operations team.

Responsibilities

? Own the resolution of applications issues, communicating the status, root cause analysis, and post resolution reporting
? Develop and maintain effective relationships with R&D and customer support teams.
? Develop an expert level understanding of application process flows and associated systems
? Deploy Sumscope's applications and configuration changes into QA, staging, and production environments. Develop the plans, run books, monitoring, and business processes supporting these deployments
? Monitor and manage application, system, and network alerts and attend to them pro-actively
? Deploy, maintain, and administer computer networks, computer hardware, systems software, and all configurations in support of Sumscope's products
? Plan, coordinate, and implement network, systems, and application security measures to protect data, software, hardware, and our clients' privacy
? Develop and execute a capacity management plan
? Develop and execute a disaster recovery plan
? Recruit, train, and manage the Systems Operation team

Requirements

? Superior customer service skills
? Ability to communicate effectively with sales, customer support, R&D, client's IT staff, and end users.
? Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
? Experience with application, system, and network monitoring systems
? Experience working with software development teams to deploy software systems and with software development and deployment methodologies
? Proven ability to recruit and retain high caliber systems operations talent

Plus Skill

? Knowledge of market data distribution or trading systems
? Knowledge of the OTC capital markets
