职位描述

Responsibility:

  • Takes responsibility for complicated engineering assignments involving consumer products(mobile phone), wireless devices, wearable devices;
  • Responsibilities include all engineering aspects of assigned projects and assigned products.
  • Assignments could involve coordination of all engineering disciplines including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering and RF engineering by project base.
  • Provides technical leadership advice on engineering areas critical to meeting the customer's goals.
  • Develop 3-D modeling of high-level physical design concepts by Pro/Engineer
  • Conducts cost reduction study, redesign, localization and optimization
  • Ensuring work is completed to meet project schedules
  • Work simultaneously with Project Management team
  • Leading engineering teams for assigned project and assigned tasks
  • Deliver cost effective solutions with manufacturability, installability and reparability
  • Undertake presentations to customers by project base
  • Meeting budget requirements as specified for each project
  • Provision of technical support as required
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activity
  • Develop physical prototypes and verify the design

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years in ME design on consumer products(mobile phone), wireless devices, wearable devices
    Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering field or above
  • Needs to be hands-on to assembly, check issue and verify the solution
  • Experience in plastic is a must and experience in sheet metal and other ME related areas is a plus
  • Excellent modeling skills in ProE, Solidworks and Auto CAD
  • Familiar with EMI/EMC requirements
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing materials and processes(USW, double shot, overmold, different adhesive);
  • Strong creative and analytical capabilities
    Strong English & Mandarin communication skills
  • Preferential with below capabilities
    Performing preliminary thermal and structural analysis using FEA and CFD tools
  • Good thermal analysis skills and experience
  • Has manufacturing background of sheet-metal or plastic products
  • Performing cabling and interconnect analysis
  • Engaging and managing external contract design staff including schedule development, Statement of Work development, estimate analysis, ongoing schedule and deliverable management
  • Knowledge of EMI containment techniques
  • Assiduous and aspiring.
