Sourcing office for hypermarket chain located in Shanghai, is looking for a Product and Quality Engineer that is energized, self-motivated and able to work in an international busy and growing environment. Our supermarkets are very well known in North Africa. In Morocco, we have 37 hypermarkets, 36 supermarkets, and 12 stores specialized in home appliances, electrical appliance, TV, Hi-Fi, and Multimedia. Our sourcing office, established in 2007, has a range of 200 suppliers and ship 1500 containers per year.

--- JOB DESCRIPTION ---
The responsibilities of the Product and Quality Engineer include, but are not limited to:
1)Product compliance to standard
- Maintain the database of Moroccan standards
- Develop test protocols and score cards
- Ensure laboratory testing of selected products
2) Quality Control (QC)
- Evaluate the quality of products construction
- Ensure the proper quality of production and finishing of the products
- Develop inspection and audit protocols and their associated checklists
- Analyze product inspections reports

3) Technical support
- Provide technical support to the entire office and external stakeholders
- Decide on the start of production and shipment of goods
- Design documents summarizing and illustrating the standards and quality requirements, as well as guidelines for the selection and evaluation of products

4) Testing
- Ensure proper functioning and efficiency of the test center
- Ensure accuracy (trueness and precision) of the data
- Create and organize a database of test reports
- Conduct products testing regarding the compliance with Moroccan standards
- Conduct performance evaluation tests on products
