The mobile gaming industry is exploding and there has never been a better time to join Chillingo. Free to play mobile games now dominate the top charts on Apple and Android as micro transactions and in-game economies have successfully migrated from Facebook to the mobile platform.

THE POSITION
Based in the company’s Shanghai office, Chillingo is looking for a Producer to assist in the publishing effort in the local region. Chillingo is dedicated to finding and publishing the best mobile and tablet games in the world. Reporting to the Head of Production, the Producer is an enthusiastic gamer with knowledge of game best practices. They are responsible for ensuring that the games that we publish are fully prepared to enter the marketplace. Candidates will work alongside the Chillingo china publishing team to determine when a title is ready for launch and the associated publishing strategy. This is a commercial, consultative, and creative role crucial to helping Chillingo deliver engaging and viral games that are fun, iconic, and meet the company’s aggressive revenue goals.


RESPONSIBILITIES
? Work with a variety of independent developers on a wide range of mobile game genres to produce consistent high quality and commercially successful products.
? Collaborate with the product manager to provide the developer with a consistent and structured feedback on game features, economy analysis, revenue optimization, promotional features, advertising and on-going live support for games.
? Guide and prepare products to pass through the various stages of Chillingo’s product evaluation process. Provide regular communication with all the relevant parties on production status of the product line.
? Catalogue and communicate feature best practices and outcomes to relevant mobile and social game teams across EA
? Provide advice and guidance on the technical and legal requirements to enable products to be submitted to the various platform appstores and carriers.
? Keep up to date with the latest internal legal guidelines. Work with our legal team to identify the relevant features and obtain legal approval.
? Catalogue and communicate f best practices and outcomes to relevant mobile and social game teams across EA



QUALIFICATIONS

? A passion for games!
? BS/BA degree, MS/MA/MBA preferred
? Background in gaming, mobile gaming preferential.
? A great understanding of the local mobile games market
? Experience of working with Chinese Mobile gaming retail channels
? Experience with the Chinese independent developer community
? Proven track record of producing mobile games
? Understanding of free-to-play game mechanics, social and mobile gaming platforms, and industry trends
? Good knowledge of device and operating systems
? Ability to work with diverse team
? Strong presentation skills
? Must be fluent in English
