Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in AR/AP/costing or GL accounting in foreign or multi-national companies; trading company experience is a plus;
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or finance
• Self-motivated and professional attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are paramount
• Team player with a positive approach towards upcoming and on-going challenges
• Advanced Excel skills and a willingness to use technology to complete daily tasks. Experience with accounting software, particularly with SUN or Navision is a plus
• Good command of both oral and written English
• Excellent communication skills. Must be persuasive and able to gain focus and action from members of other teams whose immediate objectives are not always aligned with our own.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure

Key Responsibilities

l.Monthly Group Reporting
- Compare accounting P&L with Management P&L prepared by Deal Desk and analyse differences
- Analyse monthly movements of the Balance Sheet and the P&L
- Identify differences between China GAAP and IFRS to apply adjustments accordingly
- Report monthly figures to Group Accounting via Hyperion and produce Hyperion schedules

2.Monthly Liquidation
- Compare accounting P&L with P&L provided by Operators and Deal Desk for the deals finalised during the month.
- Analyse differences and investigate with the relevant departments (Operators, Traders, Deal Desk)
- Summarize and book the liquidation differences on a monthly basis

3.Help with maintaining and improving the Internal Control framework

4.Assist Financial Controllers in various fields as requested

5.Manage and/or assist in accounting related projects and initiatives

6.Handle inquiries from internal and external peers
