Broad Functional Description:
Review customer Request for Quotation (RFQ), clearly understand customer and project requirements. Develop strategies and technical concepts based on requirements and customer needs. Develop technical documents (technical proposal) that describe the scope of offering. Work with technical engineers to develop machine concepts and ideas. Work with other company departments to establish cost estimation and project cost.

Responsibilities:
1. Participates in the Proposal, Line-up and Kick-off processes, as directed, to assure timely and accurate information is communicated both internally and externally.
2. Reviews, independently and with appropriate internal personnel, blueprints, drawings, sketches, schematics and other documents/notes to develop a clear understanding of the customer’s/prospective customer’s application and requirements.
3. Review customer RFQ and develop clear understanding of the customer needs
4. Develop sketches/concepts that meet the customer requirements
5. Develop technical specification/technical proposal describing Testec’s offering
6. Work with Engineering to develop machine concepts and propose different ideas and solutions
7. Develop project cost estimation using Testec standard cost sheets while working with purchasing and other departments.
8. Visit customers and hold technical review meetings
9. Once the order is received, hold turn-over meeting with the project team to insure the team understands the scope of supply and any outstanding issues.
10. Track the project through its phases to insure the project team is on the correct path.
11. Maintains close liaison with customer(s) during all phases of the project to assure that all issues are addressed and satisfactorily resolved in a timely matter.
12. Some travel is required.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and 5-10 years of related.
2. Demonstrated interactive abilities including formal group presentation skills.
Interpersonally skilled in dealing with all levels of personnel and problem solving.
3. Demonstrated effectiveness in utilizing negotiating skills.
4. Has excellent command of English Language .
5. Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
