Accountabilities:
? Manage and coach sub-ordinates to achieve their best performance in risk control and claim handling, including contract review, case analysis, strategy design, document preparation and etc;
? Advice on daily legal matters upon request and coordinate with legal department at HKG headquarters for legal advice on significant legal issues ;
? Manage insurance arrangements under guidance of I&C at HKG headquarters;
? Coach and supervise other members in contract review and claim handling team;
? Prepare legal document(s) where necessary;
? Make a reasonable, realistic and timely decision on legal strategy;
? Coordinate sub-ordinates for joint efforts if cross-region;
? Design/Update corporate legal procedures where necessary;
? Prepare weekly & monthly management reports;
? Design/Maintain Contract and Claim smart system in terms of efficiency and accuracy;
? Maintain relationship with external agencies, ie insurance broker, law firm, claim agency, surveyor, etc
? Refresh BUs with knowledge for risk control and dispute settlement skills upon request.

Requirements:
? University graduated or higher with law degree (experience in maritime law firm is a plus);
? 5-7 years working experience in logistics related contract reviewing and claims handling issues;
? 3+ or over experience in multi-national company;
? Good inter-person communication and negotiation skill;
? Able to read, write and speak fluent English;
? Knowledge on PC (word, excel and power point);
? Attention to details;
? Fast learner and able to work independently and even under pressure.
