Position Summary
Staff in this role will be assisting the Mobility Manager with various matters relating to relocation, immigration, settling-in and ongoing administrative support to internal customers who are NYU Shanghai expat Faculty, Staff, and their families.
To serve for the function, candidate will be collaborating with other internal functions such as HR, Finance Central Administration, Operations, Public Safety, etc. and liaising with external organizations mainly include relocation companies, real estate agents, immigration agents, schools, and other service providers.
Responsibilities
? Serve as main point of contact for Faculty, Staff and their families, coordinating pre-assignment, on-assignment and repatriation planning and providing on-the-ground support for immigration clearance, shipping arrangements, settling-in orientation, housing, schooling, concierge services (eg. mobile phones, laundry, etc.) and other daily life enquiries and needs from internal customers;
? Focus on logistical/technical support and operational needs/issues, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of quality lifestyle services and support;
? Assist the Mobility Manager in managing external service providers and controlling expenses and costs;
? Assist the Mobility Manager in maintaining internal and external communications on a variety of individual and general issues, handling routine day to day miscellaneous enquiries and requirements;
? Standardize and align NYU global practices and activities to ensure seamless flow of services;
? Keep services, data entries and reporting up-to-date with standards of quality, timeliness, and satisfaction.
Qualification
? Required Education
Bachelor degree, preferably in HR, Commerce, Social Sciences or other relevant disciplines;
? Required Experience
2+ years’ working experience especially on expatriate administration in multinational organization with diverse culture will be a plus but not necessary;
? Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
? Proficient in both written and spoken English and Mandarin;
? Good interpersonal and communication skills to work in an international and cross-cultural environment;
? Good problem solving skills, and good time management skills;
? High professional integrity, honesty and trust;
? Well organized, diplomatic, details and service oriented.
