Essential Responsibilities

• Lead design and implement power supplies for the control system of locomotives and off-highway vehicles
• Follow GE Transportation NPI processes and work instructions when executing product development which are electronics cards, control & communications devices
• Provide team clear and strong guidance in achieving satisfied level of design for reliability and meeting required design quality
• Leading key NPI programs; Coach team to better manage project schedule and improve the on-time performance
• Flow down and clarify power supply requirements from system specifications, and conduct design activities accordingly
• Work with supply chain to develop suppliers and qualify products
• Meet product environmental specifications including thermal, mechanical and electromagnetic compatibility requirements
• Create verification and validation plan to prove the satisfaction of design requirements and quality/reliability metrics
• Use knowledge about DFSS, DFR to improve design quality
• Use necessary tools to diagnose design and drive improvements

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in electrical or electronic engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experiences in electronic product design, e.g. analog/digital circuit, micro-processor circuit, power supply design, etc.
• Experiences with electronics design about modeling, analysis, simulation, verification and related hardware/software tools
• Proven knowledge & hands-on experience about DFSS, DFR
• Hands-on experience with the building, test and measurement of electronic products
• Practical experience or knowledge about firmware that associated with hardware development
• Strong project management skills and trackable record as project leader
• Good presentation and communication skills in both Chinese and English (oral and written)

Desired Characteristics

• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
• Experience with engineering project management and tools
• Familiar with the control system of locomotive or off-highway vehicles

上世纪80年代起，中国进口了首批420台GE运输系统集团制造的ND5柴油内燃机车。2002年，GE运输系统集团在北京成立了通用电气运输系统（中国）有限公司，提供研发、制造和其他服务。2005年，GE运输系统集团与中华人民共和国铁道部签订了300台Evolution系列中国干线机车合同，用于中国各大铁路干线。2008年GE运输系统集团创建了第一个矿用自卸卡车电动马达生产厂，并成立了通用电气运输系统（沈阳）有限公司。2010年9月9日，GE公司与中国南车旗下的戚墅堰机车有限公司成立的合资企业正式开工奠基，在中国开发、制造GE Evolution系列机车柴油发动机并提供服务，以及向其它新兴市场提供出口。2010年12月，GE运输系统集团与中国南车股份有限公司签订了合作框架协议，将在美国建立合资公司来共同促进高速铁路及其他轨道交通技术在美国市场的推广发展。

在过去的6年多内，公司实现了两位数的业务增长，在北京、上海、大同、成都、常州和格尔木等城市设有办公室。
