职位描述
The Regional Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing of the global Maxon line of business
Specific job duties include:
Regional responsibilities for Maxon Marketing activities in the following four areas:
Product Line Management
? Drive continual Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to validate market understanding as well as to mine unmet customer needs for new product development and to formulate requirements for new solutions to drive growth
? Feed the global marketing team regional ideas that will deliver a robust stream of new, innovative, industrial combustion products that directly impact Maxon top and bottom line performance
? Closely and continuously interact with the Maxon Engineering and Sales teams to ensure all new products are market driven and that Maxon Marketing, Engineering and Sales direction are all tightly linked
? Gather market research, develop winning value equations, manage positioning, pricing, and schedule in a cross-functional matrix environment
Channel Management
? Develop regional channel expansion and optimization strategy and lead tactical execution effort.
? Develop and maintain regional contracts and performance management process for indirect channel partners.
? Drive regional channel activities such as new product launches, pricing activities, and specific value propositions for targeted segments.
Marketing Communications
? Work in a team environment to successfully present Maxon to the local regions through promotions, advertising, trade shows, press releases and new product introductions.
? Ensure well developed launch plans for new products with effective support materials
? Work in a team environment to continuously improve customer facing information, such as, catalog, website, instructions, etc.
Strategic Marketing
? Partner with business and functional leaders to ensure effective strategy and product roadmap for growing the global Maxon business.
? Work with Marketing Director to drive STRAP (strategic planning) process including long term strategic initiatives, near term actions, competitive analysis, market trends, technology, and potential M&A for your region.
? Plan and manage the regional marketing budget and contribute to Annual Operating Plan (AOP) planning activities that support pricing and cost initiatives.
? Develop regional market segmentation model with the objective of understanding unique customer needs within those segments.
Qualifications:
? Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering
?5 + years of industrial combustion experience in engineering, sales or marketing.
? Regional channel expansion experience
? Proven expertise in driving growth through new product development
? Proven Ability to segment customers effectively
? History of sales and income growth due to strong marketing strategy and execution
Additional Qualifications:
? International business experience with both direct and indirect sales channels
? Successful integration of channel expansion models.
? Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead teams
? Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
? Proficient in Microsoft Office products especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
? Prior experience with Salesforce.com desirable
