职位描述
Specific responsibilities Include:
? Build and execute commodity strategies aligned with business requirement via effective team work
? Lead annual supplier negotiation and fulfill the commodity AOP (Annual Operation Plan) including Cost reduction/Working Capital/Quality/On time delivery/Lead Time, etc
? Maintains continuous in-depth knowledge of identified commodities, industry trends, and developing technologies
? Market research in Asia supply market and build up a high-performance Asia supplier base to support both local and global business
? Establishes and manages key Asia supplier performance goals and objectives; communicates periodic results to plan and manages top-level continuous improvement.
? Manages sourcing decisions covering selected commodities conducting competitive bid process / e-Auctions & supplier evaluation - risk, quality, and price
? Cross-organizational teaming to work in a matrix environment, delivering functional and business goals
? Ability to interface with various levels of internal management and supplier management, principally at middle level
? Must possess a well grounded capability in negotiations with both internal and external suppliers and customers as required to implement sourcing strategies
? Capability to facilitate between internal technical, project managers, technicians, region leaders and outside suppliers in the area of product selection, supplier selection, and information flow within the supply chain.
? Identify best practices and implement as appropriate in the region
? Ensure compliance with Schedule of Executive Approvals when contracts approval
? traveling up to 25% within China and AsiaPacific region
Education:
? Bachelor degree or above in Materials, Engineering or Supply Chain Management...
Experience: (Describe years and types of experience (or knowledge) a person would normally have to enter this position.)
? 5+ years commodity management/sourcing experience in rubber, glove or related products, especially have extensive knowledge of raw materials such as NBR-Nitrile butadiene rubber, Latex, PVC, etc
? Experience must involve new product introduction experience and global cross-functional project management
? Strong negotiation skills
? Strong communication and interpersonal - Effective verbal skills, effective listening skills; effective facilitation skills
? Leadership impact - able to partner with business and functional leaders to develop strategies that positively impact quality and cost of materials
