职位描述
ROLE PURPOSE:
Contribute to develop, implement and maintain pricing strategy, residual value infrastructure and service, maintenance and repairs infrastructure.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to Head of Controlling, Risk and Pricing
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. In charge for pricing tool maintenance, development and continuous improvement
2. Monitor closely, analyse and report to Finance and top management on China wide used car market. Understand the trends and all macro-economic and automotive market facts and forecasts with an impact on the second hand car market. Collect the market information also by visiting and interacting with used car dealers.
3. Analyse and report to Finance and top management of company remarketing performance in the used car market.
4. Contribute to the costing of leasing services based both on company fleet data and external sources. Follow up, analysis and reporting to Finance and top management of services cost.
5. Understand and use statistical models to forecast the market value of used cars and the services cost.
6. Contribute to the development of company-wide pricing strategy and Product / Pricing Committees. Perform competition analysis reports, product and car model comparison studies.
7. Contribute to the Risk Committees on used car prices and services.
8. Maintain and improve company infrastructures (policy, processes, statistical forecasts, controls, reports) for car residual values, services cost and pricing.
9. Provide Monthly update on Market Trends relating to
a. New car pricing
b. Used car pricing
c. Service Maintenance Repair (SMR) costs
10. Provide Monthly update + contribute to recommendations on potential risks relating to
d. Used cars Residual Value (RV) exposure on current live fleet
e. RV setting going forward
f. SMR exposure on current fleet, recommendations on potential provisions
g. SMR setting going forward
11. Provide input for key sales opportunities
12. Liaise / Reporting to Arval Group Paris to ensure company policy on RV and SMR is complied with
13. To contribute to the overall budgeting process
14. To contribute to the availability and the accuracy of all needed data (vehicle, RV, SMR, other services) that ensures reliability of quote system
15. To maintain relationship with key providers of Data (internal / external)
16. Perform any ad-hoc studies about Asset Risk, Pricing and services costs
17. Contribute to the training of other departments to spread Asset Risk and Pricing knowhow within the company.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
1. Preferably an engineering or finance degree
2. A post-graduate degree qualification, e.g. MBA, is not mandatory but will be considered as a plus
3. Minimum prior working of 2 years is mostly preferable
4. Working experience in automotive or leasing sector is a plus
5. Fluent in English
Technical and Statistical Competencies
1. Experience on data & risk management
2. Expert on computer application & usage and in particular mastering excel, VBA, access. Knowledge about access, java, SAS and SQL is a plus
3. Solid knowledge of applied statistical methods
4. Good knowledge of pricing implication & risk mitigations
