工作职责

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
1. To promote and sell the Company's products in the defined territory.
2. Support the Sales Manager, to ensure that distributors are effectively promoting and distributing the Company's products.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To ensure that sales and margin targets as set by the Sales Manager are achieved.
2. To promote products to end-users and distributors’ sales personnel. This will include the control of a lead registration system and product demonstration support for dealers in the territory.
3. To report periodically on business trends through activity reports.
4. To offer technical support to distributors and users.
5. To maintain a complete profile of customers on a constant up-dated basis.
6. To ensure adequate training of distributors' sales/marketing personnel where necessary.
7. To make recommendations on product/market development.
8. To participate in exhibitions and other sales/marketing promotions as required.
9. To work with the Sales Manager and the UK Marketing team to effectively launch new products.
10. To look for incremental business opportunities.
11. To effectively handle customer concerns, queries and complaints.
12. To inform customers of changes to Company's products/services.
13. To be responsible for pro-active evaluation and control of risk and for identifying developing risk.
14. To carry out such other duties as may be required to achieve the overall purpose of the job.
15. Liaise with the advertising agencies regarding the product campaign including journal advertising, direct mail and conferences.
16. Work closely with UK Marketing to develop technical content for marketing communications collateral; including brochures, manuals, fliers and the web.
CRITERIA FOR PERFORMANCE EVALUATION:
1. Sales achievement against targets and plans.
2. Effectiveness of new product launches.
3. Distributor sales personnel visits and meetings.
4. Sales lead generation and upkeep.
5. Product demonstration conversion rate.
6. Quality of reports.
7. Relationships with customers.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS.
1. Masters in Biology, or related sciences.
2. Experience with real-time PCR.
3. Minimum 2 years sales experience in the life sciences industry.
4. Passionate about sales.
5. Able to establish great customer relationships and trust.
6. Great team player.
LIMITATION OF AUTHORITY:
Not to authorise capital expenditure.
The job-holder must operate at all times within the policies and practices of the Company and within the law relating to employment.
