Marin Software (Shanghai) is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our quickly expanding engineering teams. Marin Software Engineers are passionate about designing quality code through an agile process. Responsibilities
● Work with architects and product managers to define requirements and solutions
● Participate actively in team and company-wide architecture discussions
● Represent local teams in company-wide design and code reviews
● Enhance and maintain existing components and features for the Marin SaaS online advertising management platform
● Implement new, highly scalable and available architecture components using Java, Spring, Hadoop
● Provide technical leadership to and mentor other software engineers
● Travel to US development centers as needed

Requirements
● 7 years of developing software in environments that follow best engineering practices
● Expert level Java and OOP development experience with demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
● Strong experience in Web applications backend development
● 3 years Big Data application experience, preferably in online ad or web analytics
● Comfortable presenting technical content to small and large groups
● Ability to effectively work with and lead a team of senior members and to influence others
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills
● Very fluent in verbal and written Chinese and English
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field, MSCS preferred
