Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
? Lead company-wide information security awareness, assessment, and improvement efforts.
? Manage projects generated from these efforts.
? Research, develop and implement infrastructure security strategies
? Key resource with in-depth knowledge of common security exploits, vulnerabilities, and countermeasures
? Provide industry standard and best practice recommendations for infrastructure security documentation and configurations
? Installation and daily maintenance of a centralized logging tool
? Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other network engineers
? Monitoring, analyzing alerts, scripting reports and tuning security devices
? Work with CIO on governance and policy as needed
? Serve as an active member of the security incident response team and forensic technical analyses
? Work with Compliance group to enforce compliance policies and procedures in IT area, such as Data Loss Prevention, IP
protection
? Perform hands-on development and support for a wide range of security technologies including but not limited to: SIEM,
IDS/IPS, VPN, Firewalls, Internet content filter, identity and access management, DLP, vulnerability management, WLAN,
Cisco IOS

Qualifications/Requirements

? Minimum of 8 years of experience with the last 4 focused on network infrastructure security
? Knowledge of common, contemporary threat vectors, vulnerabilities, and remediation and mitigation techniques
? Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems independently as well as collaborating in a team
? Expert skills with packet analysis tools such as TCP dump or wireshark
? In-depth knowledge of common TCP and UDP application protocols
? Working knowledge on Microsoft Windows 2003, 2008 server and Active Directory
? Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
? Exemplary customer support skills with ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel
? Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
? Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills
? Must be able to work well in a team environment, (small or large teams)
? Experience designing and implementing enterprise security systems, writing security requirements and assessing services /
systems
? Results oriented and self-motivated, with strong deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills
? Ability to effectively participate in multiple projects and communicate on status and deadlines
