German Industy and Commerce Shanghai is looking for

an Intership for the position Receptionist

German Industry and Commerce Greater China / Shanghai is part of the global network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs). We promote Sino-German business relations and support the business activities of companies both from Germany and China with a broad range of services.

The position will entail, but not be limited to, the following areas:

· Telephone service

· Reception (reception of visitors, offering drinks etc.)

· Collection and handing out of courier, letters and mails

· Assistance by preparation of meetings and seminars

· Coordination with other departments and providing support if needed

· Assistance by business travels of colleagues

· Keeping and management of stationery

· Purchasing ( in coordination with FN department)

· Input of business cards in customer database

· Cooperation with the other receptionist

· Assistance to the Administration department

· Assistance to the HR department if required

Basic Requirements

· Chinese national

· Decent appearance

· Excellent English, German Language skills are a plus

· Familiar with Microsoft software (Word, Excel) and Lotus Notes (preferred)

· Experience as receptionist or assistant in administration or HR will be an advantage

· Experience in an international company is preferred

Personality

· Customer-oriented approach and good interpersonal skills

· Helpful and cooperative, ability to work in a team and integrate into a German-Chinese work environment

· Ability to work under pressure

· Able to work on own initiative
