TechPubs has an immediate opening for Software Developer in the Shanghai office to implementing and supporting TechPubs Dynamic Publishing solution (Arbortext Content Manager, Arbortext Editor and Arbortext Publishing Engine).

Responsibilities
- Maintain XML DTD/Schema for airline flight and technical manuals.
- Develop StyleSheet and filters to process and viewing XML documents.
- Develop/enhance typical functionalities for commercial content management systems: check-in, check-out, versions, indexing, search, segmentation, etc.
- Develop software applications to validate XML structures, and assemble full-length manuals from component documents in the content repository.
- Develop/enhance workflow for airline-specific business process.
- Develop software applications to manipulate graphics files in raster and vector formats.
- Develop software applications to manipulate PDF files.

Minimum Requirements
- B.S. in C.S or similar with 2 or more years of software development experience.
- Experience with software development process from specifications, to coding and testing for large-scale software solutions.
- Extensive programming experience in Java, J2EE, JSP, Javascript.
- Experience with Web Application Servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere or WebLogic.
- Experience in developing software applications with commercial content management systems such as Windchill, Documentum or Interwoven.
- Familiar with workflow management and customization.
- Good knowledge in SGML/XML/HTML and technical manuals.
- Experience with Arbortext products such as Arbortext Editor, Arbortext Content Manager and Publishing Engine a plus.
- Experience in aviation standards ATA 2200 and S1000D a plus.
